Electricians (Building & Facilities Maintenance) at Print Fulfillment Services are responsible for:
  • Installing, maintaining, servicing, rebuilding, troubleshooting, repairing, and operating all industrial, commercial, and non-commercial electrical equipment and utilities as it pertains to the continuous smooth operation Print Fulfillment Services Facilities.
  • Maintaining all facility electrical systems in accordance to all applicable codes, standards, and specifications, including electrical wiring, fixtures and equipment from 12V to 480V.  This will include all main switchgear, main breakers, UPS units, generators, transfer switches, motors and control centers.
  • Understanding and actively participating in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established Print Fulfillment Services policies, procedures, training, and Team Member involvement activities. 
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

 

 
 
To perform the role of an Electrician (Building & Facilities Maintenance) successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Consistent attendance is a job requirement.
  • High school degree or GED required. Master Electrician License with the State of Kentucky.
  • Three to five years electrical experience in industrial and commercial construction or a fast-paced service company dedicated to electrical repair required.  Five to seven years experience preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must posses a current valid Master Electrician license.
  • Must have the ability to read and interpret Blue Prints and Infra Structure drawings.
  • Must regularly lift 25 pounds, frequently lift 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 45 pounds. 
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to write simple correspondence.  
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. 
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. 
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

  • The individual must regularly lift 25 pounds, frequently lift 45 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 45 pounds.

  • While performing the duties of this job, the individual is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions, risk of electrical shock; frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme heat (non-weather); and occasionally exposed to wet, humid conditions (non-weather), work in high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold (non-weather), work with explosives, vibration.
